At Cranbourne, we pride ourselves on being at the heart of our community. A welcoming 11-16 comprehensive school close to the town centre, our excellent facilities including expansive playing fields, swimming pool, Sports Hall, Fitness Suite, Hair and Beauty Salon and music rooms allow us to offer a diverse curriculum where students can immerse themselves in their passions. We promote a culture of respect, inclusivity and excellence encompassing our values of creativity, challenge, care and community. We are dedicated to the well-being of every student, and offer support through our specialist unit for students with Dyslexia, our SEN Department and mental health provision to ensure students feel safe, happy and supported.

Cranbourne students are very polite and helpful and made the primary students feel very welcomed at the Cluster Conference. Some of our girls were very nervous about coming to the 'big school' for the day, but they were instantly put at ease and had a fantastic time.
Cranbourne has cultivated a positive culture and ethos, focusing on creating a family feel and fostering positive relationships in lessons.
Student Leadership is phenomenal and staff adapt to student needs, focusing on whole-child development supported by the ethos curriculum, resulting in no disadvantaged gap.
It was lovely to see the staff and students talking about Cranbourne with such pride and enthusiasm. They really care about their school and are whole heartedly committed to making Cranbourne a safe, supportive and enjoyable place for our young people to be able to learn and thrive.
I am proud to be a member of the Cranbourne Community. Being a part of our students' educational journey is so special.

We are delighted to have been awarded the Diamond Excellence Award, validated by the Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS). At Cranbourne, we are truly proud of our diversity. By celebrating both what unites us and what sets us apart, we unlock the strength to grow together. We endeavour to remove barriers and inequalities in attainment and achievement, to improve educational outcomes for our children who are learning English as an additional language (EAL) and young people from Black, Minority Ethnic (BME) heritages. We are the first secondary school to receive such a prestigious commendation recognising our community's commitment. A huge thank you to Ms Corrigan for everything you do to support our students!
Yesterday (17 December), Mr Juliff took a group of students to London's West End to see The Lion King. Today our students got into the festive spirit and enjoyed a tasty Christmas Lunch. They had the choice of turkey, gammon or butternut squash alongside a chocolate yule log for dessert. A huge thank you to the Canteen team for working so hard to prepare such a fantastic meal for us all to enjoy!
Last week, our Year 9 students delivered sessions to primary school students at Chalk Ridge as part of their Cranbourne Aspire Diploma. Our students were tasked with organising and planning sessions for the younger pupils and decided on Corner Football, Indoor Rounders, Slime Making and Basketball. We're so impressed by how well our Year 9s rose to the challenge and confidently delivered their activities like true leaders.
On Wednesday 17 December, students are invited to come to school wearing their favourite festive jumper in exchange for a £1 voluntary donation in support of Camrose Centre for Homeless and Vulnerably Housed People. All other uniform must be worn as normal.
