We promote a culture of respect, inclusivity and excellence encompassing our values of creativity, challenge, care and community. We are dedicated to the well-being of every student, and offer support through our specialist unit for students with Dyslexia, our SEN Department and mental health provision to ensure students feel safe, happy and supported.

Pupils feel happy and safe at Cranbourne. The opportunities pupils receive, both academically and beyond the subject curriculum, prepare them well for their next steps in employment, education or training.
Cranbourne students are very polite and helpful and made the primary students feel very welcomed at the Cluster Conference. Some of our girls were very nervous about coming to the 'big school' for the day, but they were instantly put at ease and had a fantastic time.
Cranbourne has cultivated a positive culture and ethos, focusing on creating a family feel and fostering positive relationships in lessons.
Student Leadership is phenomenal and staff adapt to student needs, focusing on whole-child development supported by the ethos curriculum, resulting in no disadvantaged gap.
It was lovely to see the staff and students talking about Cranbourne with such pride and enthusiasm. They really care about their school and are whole heartedly committed to making Cranbourne a safe, supportive and enjoyable place for our young people to be able to learn and thrive.
Leaders use their knowledge of pupils' needs to ensure that they get the right support at the right time. Staff use effective strategies to help pupils to overcome the barriers to learning that they face.

Major football tournaments bring people together, but for some, they also bring increased risk. Research shows that domestic abuse can escalate during high-profile matches. Domestic abuse can affect anyone and is not always physical. It can include emotional or psychological abuse, controlling or coercive behaviour, financial abuse, threats and intimidation, and online or digital abuse. You do not have to do this alone. The rail network helps get people to where they need to be, but can also pose many risks, especially to young people. Unsafe behaviour around railway tracks, stations, overhead line equipment and level crossings leads to severe, life-threatening and criminal consequences. Staying switched on around the tracks is essential to keep everyone safe. Lots of helpful resources can be found online at https://switchedonrailsafety.co.uk/12-16-years/resources/
We have some lost property items from this half term that remain unclaimed. If any of these items belong to your child, please ask them to visit Reception before the end of term. Items will be donated to our second-hand uniform shop or to charity if not collected.

Congratulations to Year 8 student Blake who took part in his very first Stand Up Paddleboarding Race during SUPerfest at the ICF SUP World Cup in Torquay.
